Hey guys, it's been a little while since my last post. I decided to take a bit of a break at the end of the year as I was
going through some unexpected life changes and needed to shift the focus back to myself. You know how that goes! But I
have to say, the time-off did me well. I found a type of clarity which I hadn't experienced before. It exposed things
from very deep within. I'm not even sure I was quite ready for it all. But I've been taking it all in and great things have
come of it. I've become much more in-sync with the universe, more in touch with nature, with my life's purpose and
most important of all, with myself. It's been quite an interesting two months and I'm excited to see what awaits for 2015.
But enough of that... let's get to the good stuff! I wanted to get back into things with some good 'ol design inspiration...
my fav. Although I often look to Pinterest, Instagram and some other design sites, I decided to venture into new
territory and as I thought, found design heaven. The spot...Airbnb! You know it! When I first discovered Airbnb,
I remember being addicted to their site. They had such beautiful images of homes from all around the world. But best of all,
many of these homes were quite unusual and eclectic. So in this post, I wanted to introduce a new 'House Tours' section
to the blog. I wanted to start with this charming home I found, located in the center of Amsterdam. I was captured by
this space because of the combination of modern and rustic. Check out how the wooden beams and posts play with
the modern touches throughout the space. I love the open concept and the artistic and architectural details. I can go
on and on with this one, but I'll let you guys check it out for yourselves. Feel free to share what you like the most about
this space and what elements you would consider including in your home. Hope you enjoy!
