Just recently I went to a local fair where Whole Foods was one of the sponsors. To my wonderful surprise,
they were giving out complimentary green smoothies and of course, I was all over that. I mean, c'mon!
How can you say no to: free, healthy and delicious.
The smoothie was outstanding! I actually went back for seconds and thirds. It was a wonderful and explosive
combination of earthy flavors. I became obsessed with this drink and I needed to have the recipe. I had tasted
flavors of pineapple and ginger, but was excited to see that the smoothie also contained avocado (one of my
favorite food groups, lol).
Truth be told, I have this drink at least 3-4 times per week. I can't help myself. It's my new favorite thing and I
wanted to share it with you guys.
Drinker beware: this concoction is AMAZING!
Double Apple Green Smoothie
16 oz apple juice
2 handfuls fresh spinach
1 cup fresh or frozen pineapples
1/4 inch slice of fresh ginger
