Paris Eats - Main Reason To Love Paris

I wanted to make my final Paris post about the cuisine, because frankly, it's all about the food in my book! During our wonderful 8 days in Paris, we stuffed our faces with some of the most delicious grub in the world. From the breads to the foie gras to the garlic mussels, everything was exceptional. However, I became particularly obsessed with the cheeses. I mean, I've always been a big fan, but this just took it to another level, especially the bleu cheese.....oh, the bleu cheese! A cheese I was never particularly fond of, became my ultimate obsession. I was consuming at least a pound of it on a daily. A little too much you might say?!? Nah-ah! I lived and loved every second of savoriness. 

On one of our last nights we stopped at this little crepe place, called L'ile O Crepes, that made the most spectacular smoked salmon and mozzarella crepe (pictured above). It was like we had died and gone to heaven. Since then, I've been looking for a good crepe spot here in Miami. So far, no luck. But if any of you guys have any good suggestions, this girls wants to know!

One day, on our way to visit Notre Dame, we stumbled upon the Paris' 'Festival of Bread' (watch their YouTube video here). Well, I can't tell you what a surprise it was (especially for me since I've had a lifelong fascination with bread). The experience itself was new and incredibly fun. We got to sample a great selection of breads and got a close-up view of the chefs in their element.
It was a wonderful experience overall. And although we ended up gaining a few extra pounds, i can say it was totally worth it. Hope you guys enjoy the pictures.
