Feeding the Homeless, Christmas Event

This is what some of my friends and I were up to this weekend.... Feeding the Homeless at the Miami Rescue Mission Christmas Event! We helped serve food to over 2000 homeless people in the Miami area. It was amazing to see and meet such happy and grateful people, from the 400+ volunteers to the 2000+ guests. I wish I could do this for a living!

A Brooklyn Treehouse

Inspiration comes from many places, one of my favorites is my brother and sister-in-law's Brooklyn shack. It's my little retreat during my family visits up north. Here are some pictures i took during my Thanksgiving trip.

what i love the most is that their creativity is effortless yet refreshing. their place is a compilation of simplicity, love, found treasures and captured memories. most of all, it's home.

A Brooklyn Thanksgiving

I got so lucky when i found a last minute round-trip ticket from Miami to NY, for only $219. I had been searching for weeks but the airfares seemed totally unreasonable. I didn't think I would get to spend Thanksgiving with my fam which seemed unreal. my friends in Miami all had plans to leave town so I was in a bit of a pickle. But I made it to NY and what an incredible week it was. We ate, we drank, we brined, we laughed, we vegged, and I even took a holiday from my 80% vegan diet. Here are just some pictures to share, of Thanksgiving day. I couldn't be more grateful for my family, the good times and of course, the memories. "Every moment is exactly what we want it to be".
